1. Always clean the surface of the fabric before applying the film - use a lint roller for this.
2. Use clips to keep the layers together, but if you must use a pin, only hold the needle in the seam allowance.
3. Do not touch the surface of the lamination fabric with the iron; always use a press cloth. This is how I pressed the zipper opening.
4. The plastic film will wrinkle when you sew and manipulate the fabric (especially when you turn the bag from side to side). Once the pouch is complete, you must use the press cloth and give the pouch one final compression.
5. For best results, separate the inner liner and outer pocket as shown below (for this pouch I also laminated the inner liner).
6 After pressing, let the fabric cool before proceeding to the next step.
